These two discs containsthe scanned images of pages taken from the Police Gazette  newspapers, published by the New Scotland  for the year 1923.

The gazette’s contain news of murders, wounding, larceny, burglary, horse and cattle stealing, stolen property, embezzlement. There are also lists of Deserters from the Army and Naval Forces, which shows Regiment, were Born, Trade, Height, Eye and Hair Colour, Clothes worn and Date and Place of Desertion.
