Colouring and Tinting.

Our colouring or colourizing of old black & white or sepia prints is second to none.Once we have repaired any damage to the print, the next task is to research the colours of clothing and backgrounds of the subjects. We have an extensive image library of clothing worn by people from 1850 onwards from all over the world to accurately colour match you print.

Photographs from military years are researched from armed forces archives. Accuracy in colours is paramount to our beliefs/ethics of recreating a true representation of the original photograph. Skin tones are the most important colours to get right, again we use a mix of techniques to achieve the best results.
